The Snelheid & Spektakel® Revival Festival is a unique experience festival around motor sport that takes you back to the atmosphere of the 1970s when international road-races took place in Sint-Joris-ten- Distel (Beernem).
Join or visit this extraordinary event around motorsport: a celebration of motor culture! A non-stop programme of experience rides, world champions and riders from the past and more recent times, nostalgic live music, an outstanding experience evening, photography and film from the past, an exhibition with original racing bikes and great DJs who will provide a sizzling Welcome Party are just some of the well-filled programme.
For the true motorbike enthusiast, we would like to highlight our book. It is a tribute to motor sports in Sint-Joris-ten-Distel (Beernem), where motorbikes were running at full speed and international riders from all corners of the world came along to show their best side.
What you can expect: unique footage, memorabilia, race reports, petites histoires and testimonials from riders, collaborators, federation officials and journalists who experienced everything from the front row.
Won 4 Grand Prix races in his active racing career and finished as vice champion in the 350c class in 1982.
Local pilot who raced internationally for several years as a privateer in the lightest class. A paragon of passion, perseverance and courage!
